I am writing to express my appreciation for the highly useful training facilitated by Michael Sampson for myself and other colleagues in the West Africa region.

Mr. Sampson facilitated the course Effective Personal Productivity Program (EPP) to a group of about ten people for a 4-month period in early 2021. Comprised of weekly sessions and homework tasks, the course is structured in such a way to integrate new practices and learning into a professional’s working week and days. By holding regular but infrequent classes, it provided good opportunity to reinforce lessons learned and highlight in an ongoing fashion how participants are applying learning and making changes....

Before undertaking the LMI Effective Personal Productivity® program, I did not have much experience in segregating actions according to high paid off activities. I would complete all the actions assigned with the same effort.

However, with the training, I have realized the benefits of spending more time on high paid off activities (HPAs) and delegating the low paid off activities to the subordinate since this will free up my time for HPAS while imparting new knowledge and skills to the subordinate. It is true what Benjamin Franklin said: "There are three things that are extremely hard — steel, a diamond and to know one's self." The EPP gave me a rare opportunity to know myself; it exposed my weaknesses, but it also showed me the strengths that I can draw on for success. The EPP materials, exercises and coaching are practical and adaptable to everyone's needs.

If there was ever a wrong time (in my mind), to have started a course, this course is it. I had so much on my plate, this is because when I enrolled, I was kicking off a national campaign that literally took all of my time (with zero experience at managing campaigns if I may add!). So my general attitude on the onset, was that it was a good sounding course that would add more value to me if I had more time for it!.

However, interestingly, when I chose to apply myself, and listen to the recordings as well as read the notes in the manual and undertake the lesson review questions, it caused me to be quite reflective and I realized that this exercise was adding value...
